Legal Evidence Surveys
Philip has conducted research projects for legal purposes since 1991 and has conducted some 100 such projects, including seven multi-national projects. These surveys normally relate to passing off or trademark matters. He has given expert evidence in court on twelve occasions.
In addition to conducting surveys he has, on several occasions, been commissioned to review surveys conducted by other agencies and consultants and, where necessary, provide a report reviewing that survey evidence.
For the last 6 years, he has acted as a tutor on expert survey evidence at Nottingham Law School (LL.M in Intellectual Property Litigation). This involves facilitating workshop sessions, including role-playing scenarios involving expert evidence and providing advice / feedback to the students.

In addition to these surveys, he has assisted clients with a range of planning matters, including shopping centres, housing developments and leisure facilities.
